A couple of customer requested features:

  • The system should indicate that the product has been registered. This is done by changing the logo to remove 'unregistered' and to remove the registration selection from the menu.

  • Present a request for registration whenever an unregistered copy is started.

This release addresses a few cosmetic issues, especially those related to screen painting (or repainting) when using pull downs.

  • The Express message pulldown has been replaced with a scrolling text area to eliminate screen repainting problems with some combinations of Java and Look and Feel.
  • Set the Look and Feel to the platform default Look and Feel.
  • The ball in the send button changes color to indicate the current status of the main messaging screen:
    • yellow - no recipient selected, send will fail.
    • green - message is unsent, but ready to go.
    • blue - the currently displayed message has been sent successfully.
    • red - the attempt to send the currently displayed message failed (Unimplemented).
    • magenta - message sent to multiple recipients and some failed (Unimplemented).
